Hi there! I'm a fiber artist and librarian living in northeast Massachusetts.

I've been working with yarn and thread since elementary school when my sister taught me to make friendship bracelets (are those still a thing? I hope so). Since then I've moved on to creating works on paper inspired by geometry, vintage textiles, and nature. I like the interplay of using an "old-fashioned" technique (embroidery) to make contemporary art. My hand-stitched works are known for their intricacy and vibrant color palettes.

With my woven pieces, texture is enormously important. Soft and rough, geometric and abstract -- I look for a balance between the competing forces in each piece. I gravitate towards fibers that you want to reach out and touch. My weavings are meditative and heavily influenced by travel, books, and the natural world.
